Strand – Paz (Foehn / 008)

Mal sehen. Strand ist unser Darling aus Madrid, der beste aus Spanien mit Laptop sowieso, keine Frage, Paz klingt wahnsinnig gut und Foehn ist eh der beste Name ever für ein Label. Ja genau, wir können uns diesen nächsten Satz mit dem schiefgehen hier sparen. Passt einfach alles. Strand ist der Meister. Wir stellen uns das ungefähr so vor. Dass der Miguel so in einem Vorort von Madrid das Gewächshaus seiner Oma im Garten umfunktioniert hat und da kleine Schnuff-Beats und Melodien züchtet. So mit trickreicher Bewässerungsautomatik und allem drum und dran. Und weil Melodien nicht lange brauchen, kann Miguel jede Woche ernten, zusammenraffen, alles reinladen, dann noch die Gitarre holen, ein bisschen dazu singen, dabei an sein Vorbild Styrofoam denken und so eben. So kommt dann eines der tollsten, kleinen Alben heraus, die wir seit langer Zeit gehört haben. Wir sind froh, dass es dich gibnt, Miguel.
